Steve Chittock is planning a therapeutic/wellness saltwater spa complex on the Esplanade here. I reckoned he'd better experience what hot salt water feels like ( i.e. satin sheets) so rolled the tub down to the edge of the surf. It's a great way to meet people. Come winter, we should have one for the surfing competitions. Although it may lose the local guys their advantage if the international surfies can actually move their limbs in the winter sea off Dunedin.
