Another shot from up the Remarkables. The Lake Alta water measured right on freezing point. Plunging into the
tub after skinny dipping felt like being attacked by needles over your whole skin’s surface. But good after that.
We were visited by a stream of cross-country skiers, climbers, and ski instructors from the Remarkables skifield.
One nice Canadian reckoned she’d sell tubs to friends of hers back home who’d give anything to be
able to sit in a hot tub and catch fish. Another unforeseen use!
